Found a temperature or time that looks wrong?

Please tell me. This is the most useful email I can get. Include the ingredient page, the method, and what you think the number should be — plus a source if you have one. Cooking data gets corrected on this site rather than argued about, and a specific report is easy to act on.

Every ingredient page lists the internal temperatures and cook times I could verify. Where sources disagree, I default to USDA safe minimums for anything food-safety related. If you think a call was wrong, say so.

Using the data?

The cooking dataset is published under CC BY 4.0 and available as JSON and plain text. You do not need permission to use it — attribution to Cook Lookup is enough. Email me if you are building something on it and want a heads-up before the schema changes.
